Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Hello, and welcome one and all to Living In Euphony!

What is euphony?  It is defined as a pleasing or sweet sound, or a harmonious succession of words having a pleasing sound. 

My own definition?  Music. 

This is a blog run by two very good friends who both like more than a little euphony in our lives.  We’re absolutely nuts about music, and we’re constantly sharing new finds with each other.

Russ (that’s me) tends to enjoy beautiful sounds, although loud, crunchy guitars are nice too.  I take pride in not following the crowd; I listen to what I like, whatever it is.  I don’t usually listen to lyrics too closely, preferring a sweet melody and intricate instrumentation.  I’m not going to go into what types of music or artists I like in this post -- you can find all that on the sidebar.

This blog will not follow trends.  This won’t be the place to get the latest news and raves on the hot up-and-coming indie act or the hot singles of the week.  We are eclectic, we are individualistic, and we are random.  You may expect to find posts about artists you’ve heard of, artists you haven’t, and artists we think you should hear about.  We’ll try our best to update the site on a regular or semi-regular basis.  That’s part of the reason we’re doing a joint blog.  All we want you to do is sit back, relax, read our thoughts, and enjoy what we post.  You may discover your next favorite song or band, and there’s only one way to find out:
